New Roof to Grade II Listed Building at Manchester Royal Infirmary
Replacement of the existing roof including associated external façade repairs to the Grade II listed Chapel at the Manchester Royal Infirmary. DAY CM were appointed by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust to carry out pre & post contract cost management services from inception through to project completion. This scheme was complex due to constraints of the listed building status, and we worked closely with the appointed heritage architect and specialist sub-contractors.The scheme was delivered to an excellent standard under the protection of a temporary roof scaffold, with key features such as the rooftop cupola, which was carefully dis-assembled and meticulously repaired off site.
